Daso, our newest signing, is one of the world's most charming maniacs. Born in Poona (India), he was raised up in Lower Saxony and now lives in Cologne. He already gained fantastic reputation through his releases on Traum's housey sublabel MBF. His first release on Connaisseur will feature his more techno oriented side, without losing his melancholic, beautiful and extremely kickin' sound. We are very happy to welcome Daso with his awesome three-tracker on Connaisseur and suggest everyone to check his live act. He is a real rocker behind the laptop; skilled clubbers from Zurich to Tokyo can confirm this. "Sam N Max" is deep rumbling techno track with a mind-blowing bellish sequence and snappish hi-hats. It's the perfect match for a sweaty peak time techno workout. "Dott" is the first track on the flipside and Daso's nastiest track so far. It has the energy of a stagecoach trapped in a huge buffalo stampede features some venturesome tumbling comic style noises on top. "Beneath A Steel Sky" is the B2 track. The queen of German minimal, Anja Schneider, called it "Mädchen-techno" and damn she is right! The melody in this track is so sweet, it has at least 3000 calories, a sure shot to get the ladies back on the floor.
