From the very first few seconds of ‘Time Starts Now’ you hear the eeiry vibeof this mystical number. Vocal-like drones over funk breaks puzzle people to the point you can see them frowning wondering if theearth is coming to an end. Carefully chosen atmospherics and samples fly in pure esoteric style in the intro, and the low bass kicks inlike storm flashes whilst your awaiting the thunder to appear. Vocal film, sax samples and breaks switch the atmosphere like SourceDirect never died. Indeed people. Time Starts Now! On the flip Seba and Paradox flex their musical abilities in the remix of DuoInfernal’s ‘Playing Games’. Seba and Paradox take the core elements of the original mix and really transform the track utilizing harpand piano parts into a breathtaking score. The breaks ‘swing’ to give it that ultra-important funk element in Drum and Bass, and thedeep bass tones alongside keys and pads accompany the musical melody to perfection. Both tracks are already scheduled forlicensing work before the 12” is officially released due to its popularity.
