Following on from Breakage’s massive twelve on Digital Soundboy, he returns home to Bassbin with a very diverse EP, dark, smooth, deep and heavy, he covers all angles. The EP opens with ‘Hindsight’ an amen dubwise roller, in the same vein as ‘So Vain’, huge bassline alongside vocal snippets of Horace Andy. Next up is a rework of one of the highlights off ‘This Too Shall Pass’, ‘Losing Track’, this rhythym is fresh and inspired. Lightweight is a dark, sparse and deep roller with touches of hardcore in the beats, the EP is nicely rounded off with the dubby ‘Come back’, another delve into the half time world of drum'n'bass that Breakage is making a speciality.
