The Vex’d remix of ‘Knowledge’ has appeared before, but is here reissued with a brand new A-side, namely Toasty’s stunning (and previously unavailable) rub of the classic ‘Candy Floss’. The sweetness of the original has been all but sucked out though, replaced with a techy melancholy which evokes classic Metalheadz vibes. Galvanised drums clank away beneath desert winds and foghorn bass sounds in the distance before the sunny Rhodes breakdown offers a little gentle warmth.
