This beautifully presented 7" delivers a wholesome flavour of pastoral hiphop and folk electronics to come. One of the undoubted highlights of the album, 'Ambivalence Avenue' is a woolly piece of acoustic folk subtly enhanced by electronic means in the style of the last Boards Of Canada album. It draws to mind lazy weekends in middle England and the quaintness of old TV for schools programmes. Much like the layout of the album, the flipside splits off into the other side of Bibio's musical persona, constructing heavyweight hip-hop instrumentals with large nods to Dilla on a slow-bumping and sample chopped ride that fans of Lone or Lukid will love.
