Hudson Mohawke gilt als einer der vielversprechendsten jungen Producer aus England, wird in einem Atemzug mit Aphex Twin & Flying Lotus genannt und ist eines der besten Warp-Signings 2008. Das Kid aus Glasgow kreiierte erste Mixtapes im Alter von 10, startete das Musikmachen mit 12, und gewann als jüngster Champion mit 14 sowohl die ITF wie auch die DMC Championships. Kein Wunder, dass Mohawke bereits 2008 - ohne Tonträgerrelease - mehrseitige Features in Juice (Deutschland), Dazed & Confused & XLR8R bekam. Seine erste 6-Track-EP auf Warp gibt einen hervorragenden Einblick in die Qualitäten des innovativen Youngsters, auf der er HipHop, R&B & Pop mit abstrakter Electronica vermengt, und sich so als Englands Antwort auf Flying Lotus empfiehlt. Hudson Mohawkes Albumdebut ist für Sommer 2009 geplant.
