It's been a long time coming so finally here it is, martyn's debut for bassbin rec. First up is "cloud convention" a sublime piece of musical d'n'b which easily compares to the style & quality of good looking & the likes back in the late 90's when artists like alaska, big bud, seba & blame were releasing some of the most thought provoking atmospheric, emotional jungle. An absolutely timeless piece of d'n'b which will certainly still be just as impressionable 10 years down the line! On the flipside martyn resorts to his more minimal stripped down style with a track with deep sub b-lines, stepping breakz with rolling percusiion & his signature groove. This young dutch producer has only been releasing tracks for about a year & this is only his 5th release but if he just keeps raising the bar on his production like this then surely it's only a matter of time before he gets the recognition he deserves.
