Subtle are an Oakland based sextet. The bands lead vocalist is Doseone (Themselves, Cloudead, 13&God, Boombip & Doseone). This is the outstanding first single from their forthcoming album "For Hero For Fool" which is complete and sounds amazing & is set for a October release. Since their genesis in 2001, Oakland-based sextet Subtle have been home-recording their way to the far side of song. Drawing from a diverse palette of instruments: sampler, synth, guitar, cello, winds, electronic and acoustic drums, and the unmistakable voice and prose of Doseone, the band fashions a self-sampled and live-mic'd musical experience.
