"Drop It When Its Hot" - sollte das Debütalbum dieses Trios aus England wohl eher heißen. Eckiger, raffinierter Art-Punk mit hohem Spassfaktor ist die einzig legitime Beschreibung! Und live muss man diese Band aus Liverpool gesehen haben. Die Trendspürnasen vom Berlin Festival hatten die Band schon im Sommer diesen Jahres für ihr Open Air verpflichtet. Denn dort bewiesen Hot Club de Paris, dass sie einfach eine extrem unterhaltsame Live-Combo sind. Kein Wunder, dass Anfragen für Headline, Support- und Festivalshows reinflattern, ohne dass die Band bisher auch nur einen einzigen Longplayer veröffentlicht hat. Test Icicles, Arctic Monkeys, We are Scientists, Mates of State, Tapes 'N Tapes, um nur ein paar zu nennen. So war die Band vor kurzem in UK als Support von Maximo Park + Love Is All zu sehen
